COFFEE AND CONDOMS WIN GOLD FOR ARGENTINA
Seven agencies in Buenos Aires, Argentina were honoured with Statues at the
22nd London International Awards in November 2007.
Topping the list was CraveroLanis, which won the lion's share of Gold Statues for Noir Intense Coffee. The ad campaign won Gold for Poster Campaign Indoor and a Silver Statue for Consumer Campaign. The single ad 'Security' was awarded Gold for Poster Indoor and Beverages Non-Alcoholic while 'Truck Driver' won for Poster Indoor.
Following this success closely was Young and Rubicam, Buenos Aires with their Gold Statue for Tulipan 'Lake' Condoms in Print Pharmaceutical. Tulipan Condoms was also honoured with Silver Statues for Poster Campaign Outdoor and Consumer Campaign. Also included in their swag of Silver Statues was their MTV Consumer Campaign.
JWT Argentina won their fair share of Silver Statues in the medium of Television/Cinema for Sedal in the categories of Editing and Cosmetics/Toiletries.
In Print, their ad for Revista Mercado was duly recognised with a Silver Statue for Media Promotion.
Other agencies that were included in the Silver role of honour were BBDO Argentina for Nike ”Paper Shower” in the category of Art Direction Campaign, Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi with Ariel Clothes 'Stain' in Poster Campaign Outdoor, Madre in the category of Apparel for Television/Cinema with their spot Nike Women - ”Surgery” and Vegaolmosponce for their Impulse Television/Cinema Campaign.
