THREE SWISS ADVERTISING AGENCIES WIN AT PRESTIGIOUS LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2007
Three Entries Capture Silver Statue
(London, November 12, 2007) – Three Swiss advertising agencies were recognised for their superior entries to the 2007 London International Awards held at the Hippodrome this evening. Now in its 22nd year, the London International Awards honours excellence in advertising, design and digital media.
Three entries from Switzerland in the mediums of Poster & Outdoor, Print and Design have been chosen as Gold and Silver Statue winners. 16 entries in total from Sweden reached Finalist status.
The three companies that won Gold and Silver Statues include: DraftFCB/Lowe Group– one Silver Statue in Poster & Outdoor

Ruf Lanz– one Silver Statue in Print

Swiss Publicis– one Silver Statue in Design

Of the 17,660 submissions, only eight percent (8%) reached Finalist status. Of those elite selections, 1.4% attained Silver status and only 0.5% were awarded Gold Statues. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of the London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were considered.
