Two coveted Silver statues were won by two different agencies from the United Arab Emirates.

Aside from the fact that both agencies are from Dubai the other common denominator is that both pieces of work featured water.

Inca Tanvir Advertising was awarded a Silver Statue for their submission for 24 Carat Fish Food. This innovative Point-of-Purchase piece won the hearts and the votes of the jury of top international creative people with its actual Live Display.

Real water and real fish brought the message strongly home as it demonstrated the use of the product in-store.

In the medium of Print, Lowe MENA blew the judges away with its cheeky ad for Axe Shower Gel. ”Blowing Bubbles” was the only Silver Winner in the category of Cosmetics/Toiletries.

”In recent years, we are seeing more and more great work coming out of the Middle East,” observed Barbara Levy, President of London International Advertising.

”It's always nice to see new emerging markets take on the traditionally established countries in terms of design and advertising. And winning. We hope to see even more of a mixed bag of winners in 2008.”
