TWO ITALIAN AGENCIES WIN FINALIST STATUS
AT PRESTIGIOUS LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2008
(London, November 10, 2008) – Two Italian agencies, JWT Italia and Lowe Pirella Fronzoni, attained a Finalist Status each at the London International Awards 2008. Now in its 23rd year, London International Awards continues to honour excellence in advertising, design and digital media.
JWT's indoor poster entry 'Nativity' for Comics National Museum was awarded Finalist status in Poster & Billboard. Lowe Pirella Fronzoni's submission Arena 'Audience' won in Apparel, Television & Cinema.
Of the 17,969 submissions, only 5% reached Finalist status. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were judged.
"It is good to see Italy still keeping up the standard of good work despite extreme competition in both these mediums," said Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards.
