MEDIAFRONT, OSLO WINS THREE FINALISTS
AT PRESTIGIOUS LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2008
(London, November 10, 2008) – MediaFront, Oslo attained Finalist status in three categories at the London International Awards 2008. Now in its 23rd year, London International Awards continues to honour excellence in advertising, design and digital media.
Uncle Grey's submission Peugeot 308 "Long Minute" was honoured with two Finalists in Television/Cinema in the categories of Best Use of Music and Automotive. Ogilvy & Mather's entry Duracell "Speaker" won Finalist Status in Poster Outdoor.
Of the 17,969 submissions, only 5% reached Finalist status. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were judged.
"Scandinavia has always been at the forefront of Digital Media," said Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards. "This work is a classic example of the type of talent they have in Norway."
