"It's a staggering amount of Statues to win. But it's really not a surprise as Germany has been constantly winning year after year," observed Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards. "This year, Germany has won even more Gold Statues than the year before. German agencies have displayed an amazing amount of talent and have raised the creative stakes for everyone."
Of the 17,969 total submissions from 81 countries, only five percent (5%) reached Finalist status. From that elite group, 1.4% attained Silver status and only 0.7% were awarded Gold Statues. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of the London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were considered.
