OGILVYONE WORLDWIDE HONG KONG WINS A SILVER STATUE
AT PRESTIGIOUS LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
(London, November 10, 2008) – OgilvyOne Worldwide was recognised for their superior entry to the 2008 London International Awards held at the Hippodrome this evening. Now in its 23rd year, London International Awards continues to honour excellence in advertising, design and digital media.
OgilvyOne Worldwide won a Silver Statue for Guinness in Mobile Advertising, Digital Media.
"Hong Kong has done well in this very competitive media," commented Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards. "I think we will be seeing more and more Winners in this category from that part of the world in years to come."
Of the 17,969 total submissions from 81 countries, only five percent (5%) reached Finalist status. From that elite group, 1.4% attained Silver status and only 0.7% were awarded Gold Statues. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of the London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were considered.
