Now in its 23rd year, London International Awards continues to honour excellence in advertising, design and digital media.

Grey Barcelona's entry 'Goldfish' won a Grand Prize - one of only six awarded at the ceremony, chosen from a pool of 17,969 submissions. The same entry was also awarded a Gold Statue in Office Equipment, Print.

Twelve entries from Spain in the mediums of Poster & Outdoor, Print and Television/Cinema have been chosen as Gold and Silver Statue Winners.

The six companies awarded Gold and Silver Statues are:

Euro RSCG Worldwide Madrid won one Gold Statue in Print;

Grey Barcelona won one Grand Prize in Print, one Gold Statue in Print and one Silver Statue in Poster & Billboard;

JWT Spain won two Gold and two Silver Statues in Television/Cinema;

"Print is a highly competitive media," commented Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards. "Spain pulled off quite a coup by winning the Grand Prize. Competition was very stiff. But the best work won."

Of the 17,969 total submissions from 81 countries, only five percent (5%) reached Finalist status. From that elite group, 1.4% attained Silver status and only 0.7% were awarded Gold Statues. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of the London International Awards since its inception in 1986 when 2,600 submissions were considered.
